Joo Yoo, DDS

Dr. Joo Yoo founded Honest Dental with a mission to build long-lasting relationships with patients while making dental care accessible and empowering through education. He believes in a preventive and conservative approach to dentistry and values clear communication to keep patients informed about their care.
Originally from South Korea, Dr. Yoo attended Loyola High School in Los Angeles, CA, and now resides in Pacific Los Angeles, CA. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, and completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA.
As an avid sports fan, Dr. Yoo enjoys discussing local teams, especially the Lakers, with his patients. Outside the office, he loves staying active outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Yoo looks forward to meeting you and helping you achieve a healthier, more confident smile.
Marcus Ochoa, DDS

Dr. Marcus Ochoa is a dentist dedicated to gentle, personalized care that prioritizes his patients’ comfort and well-being, with a strong focus on preventative and conservative dentistry to maintain long-term oral health.
Born and raised in SoCal, Dr. Ochoa went to Damien High School in La Verne. He then went on to obtain his bachelor’s in microbiology with a minor in chemistry at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Soon after, he attended Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California (USC) to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ochoa enjoys his downtime with his fiancée. They love exploring the outdoors on hikes and staying in to watch movies and TV shows. He loves trying different cuisines, with a special fondness for sushi.
Vanessa Ramirez

Vanessa Ramirez plays a vital role at Honest Dental, ensuring the seamless operation of the practice through her expertise in both billing and dental assisting. Her compassionate approach and ability to connect with patients make her an integral part of the Honest Dental team. Vanessa’s dedication to creating a welcoming and supportive environment helps ensure every patient feels valued and cared for.
Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys relaxing with her boyfriend while watching Netflix and embarking on outdoor adventures, such as long hikes in the hills. Her love for sushi and ramen reflects her adventurous spirit and appreciation for diverse cuisines. Vanessa is always available to assist with your questions and ensure your visit is comfortable and stress-free.
